| Soccer Starz trademark will become a recognised symbol of excellence in its field. Soccer Starz sales staff and coaches will not only be known as sales and coaching staff but as staff who really care about the boys and girls in our coaching programs leaving a lasting impression on their lives. |

Kids introduction to Soccer Starz
|
| With South Africa hosting the soccer world cup, what better reason to introduce our children to the great game of soccer. |
- Soccer Starz provides an early training platform for children aged 3-8 years old where they will learn various skills, not only in soccer, but other sport that involves playing with a ball.
- Our trained coaches will provide skills needed for youngsters to become more confident on the sports field.
- Each session will be 30 minutes per week, ensuring we keep their attention span active.
- These sessions will be held at the child's school, and will be on the same day and time throughout the year. Lessons will not be refunded or made up if a child is absent or through bad weather.
- Soccer boots are not necessary but players are asked to wear their Soccer Starz T-shirts.

Studies Show

Families today are living in smaller environments eg. town houses and clusters
Kids have less access to large gardens and open space to run and play with balls.
Children are at risk of spending too much time in front of computers, TV's and playing hand held games
Security limits kids from going outside and playing ball sports.
Many families these days have Mom and Dad working full days. This limits the time they have to teach their kids how to play with a ball.

Kit
|
| Players will be required to wear comfortable clothing. A Soccer Starz T-shirt is included in the membership fee which we ask the kids to wear to soccer practice. These T-shirts are issued in the first week of March. |

Philosophy

| Soccer Starz will develop and constantly strive to maintain high levels of service and coaching programs to all our Soccer Starz schools and players by ensuring our coaches are constantly being trained with new techniques and sending our coaches on advanced gross motor skill programs giving us a competitive advantage. |

Basic Soccer Skills
|
- Children between the age of 3 - 8 years will be taught:
- Eye co-ordination
- Kicking a soccer ball
- Turning
- Shooting
- Headering
- Throwing a ball
- Balancing a ball on his/her foot
- Movement – running forward/ backwards, sideways and jumping.

| These will assist in the development of body awareness and control, visual perceptions, motor skills and spatial awareness. |

Fees
|
| An annual membership fee is payable on joining. This annual fee covers the Admin fee, a Soccer Starz T-shirt, a certificate and medal. The certificate and medal will be handed out at the end of the year prize giving. Please complete the attached form and send it back to your child’s school with full payment. Cash, cheque or EFT. See bank details on the insert. Fees are payable in advance by the 7th of each month. |
