Weekend Soccer Tournaments

We are happy to inform you that our “Weekend Soccer Tournaments” are here again & our dedicated Little League referees & Tournament Directors are ready to rock & roll by offering our families a fun filled weekend. We have so many young talented children that all love the game of “Soccer” & spend many hours kicking a ball at home, school or anywhere they can. Our weekends offer these children a great opportunity to make new friends & for them to show their parents their skills at the same time having loads of fun. For the many parents that work tirelessly week after week you will also get to have a break & spend quality time with your children & friends.

Great news !!! our regular hotels, namely Orion Safari Lodge in Rustenburg, Orion Mont aux Sources in the Drakensberg, Peermont Graceland Casino in Secunda, Peermont Tusk Casino in Mafikeng & Sun International Sun City Cabanas, have again offered us “special packages” for our away weekends.

If you are interested in entering your team, give Jan a call on 011 882-6684 & book soon as weekends are filling up fast. Nominate a team manager to do your bookings which must be done per team & a maximum of 2 teams per weekend. Teams wishing to participate in the McSportz weekends can only stay in the designated hotels.

A non refundable deposit of R500.00 p.family p.room must be paid as a team - eg. 10 players x R500.00 = R5,000.00 which is paid directly into the designated hotel. The balance is payable on checking in on the Friday evening & each family is responsible for their own account EXCEPT Sun City where the procedure is different.

Little League rules will apply. In the non competitive age groups every child will be awarded a McSportz medal & certificate of attendance plus their will be special awards given by our Referees for “Goalkeeper” “Player” & “Tiger of the Tournament”. These will be handed out at the prize giving on Sunday lunchtime at the soccer fields.

We have an adult Dinner/Dance on the Saturday evening & the dress theme this year is a “turn about” – men dressed as woman & visa versa. Get your team into the spirit of this theme as your children love to see their parents dress up & it sets a fun spark at the start of the evening. There will be a prize for best dressed man & woman.
